Heroes Chapter Four: "Hiros"
Heroes Save The Cheerleader, Save The World
Chapter Four: "Hiros"
Speaking of scary, I was freaking out thinking Claire was actually going to confess to her Father that she has the power of cellular regeneration. How great was Hayden P. during that bedside confession scene though? Awesome. She's turning into quite the actress and is really being able to hold her own which is a good thing considering she plays a huge role in this series storyline. Afterall, she is the cheerleader in need of saving.
This morning it was announced that Claire's Jeepers Creepers Father, Jack Coleman, has just been made a series regular beginning with Episode 11. The Cleaner may have been made a regular but really would any of us remember? He's that good!
I really think this week's episode "Hiros" really amped up the series. There is one moment I don't appreciate and I will explain shortly but for the most part they moved this show along so much this week that I cannot wait to see what happens in 6 days.
As mentioned, we learned that Claire is still a vulnerable Daddy's Girl that really doesn't suspect her Father to be the downfall of the Heroes. Her Father showed us that he has the power (if not by himself) to manipulate almost any situation given his friend The Cleaner. Nathan showcased his flying power and power it is... the man created a sonic boom when he took off! Hiro and Nathan crossed paths and became some sort of friends. Niki awoke and realized she helped Mr. Linderman blackmail the would be Congressman. Nathan finds out about the blackmail sex romp video and ups his "in pocket" price from $2 million to $4 million whether Linderman likes it or not. Also like it or not Niki needs to keep her mouth shut or her debt with Linderman will reappear. The police raided Niki's house in anticipation of DL returning home. Is he the homicidal maniac or is Niki's other half? Ando thought it would be a good idea to pay Niki a visit as well, it really wasn't. Matt read his wife's thoughts and did everything she ever wanted him to do in effort to make up and mend their marriage. After a quick roll in the hay, he heads to a convenience store where his abilities help him prevent a robbery but puts him directly in harms way. Oh yeah and Peter took on Isaac's abilities, finished a painting of a looming figure murdering the cheerleader. Did I mention he had glowy white eyes too? In the end, the phone rang, Isaac said not to answer it because some crazy Japanese speaking man keeps calling but Peter picks it up knowing its Hiro (whom stopped the train and gave him a message from the future)... "My Name is Peter Petrelli; I have a message for you"
So many connections this week. So many possibilities. So many great moments!
And my one not so great moment is really trivial but why would Matt go out of the house without his badge or gun. Maybe one or the other but not without both. I have a brother that's a cop and a brother in the FBI and both are always ready to go! So that part bothered me. If he'd just had that damn badge he wouldn't have had to worry about people losing it over him with the robber's gun. All I'm sayin'.
Now the Shirt!

Here's my problem with the whole "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" - I kind of hope she dies and hopefully take Peter down with her. The show would be much better without them.

Ouch Scooter. I really am enjoying Claire. I've not completely warmed to Peter yet though so I don't care one way or the other except we now know he plays a huge role in the saving thingy.
