Veronica Mars' Tessa Thompson Lands New Gig!

My girl Tessa just landed herself a new show over on The CW! According to TVGuide, Jackie Cook will take her badgirl self on over to mid-season replacement Hidden Palms.

Wikipedia lists a description of Hidden Palms (created by Scream scribe Kevin Williamson):
It is a coming-of-age drama about a troubled teen who moves to a gated community in Palm Springs where he uncovers some dark secrets. It's being written and produced by Kevin Williamson, creator of Dawson's Creek and I Know What You Did Last Summer and directed by Scott Winant (My So-Called Life, Huff). So far 8 episodes have been ordered and it is speculated that it will follow the reality show Beauty and the Geek on the CW Wednesday line-up since it has also been given an 8 episode order.
